Oh dear! Chris has learned to surf the web!

I think it's time to activate my parental controls feature for the internet. Chris has learned to surf the net. He loves youtube! Since he frequently searches "bunny" and "rabbit" I'm a bit concerned about him finding "bunnies" that are not lagomorphs!

Ahhh, yes I think you need to set up your safe setting. Just for curiosity sake I searched "bunny" in you tube, it's not toooo bad, but yeah.

Yup - at our house, there are "no googling" and "no youtubing" rules without adult supervision. The school has taught them to "shut and tell" (shut down the program and tell an adult) if anything bad comes up on the computer, but when I asked Cri what "bad" meant - his example was a violent robot coming out of the computer and killing everyone .. SO ... good work educating my kid, public school!

I gave my kid the correct information and the computer is in the kitchen. There are some sick and wrong things out there, internet supervision makes kids crazy and it's time consuming, but, I say VITAL.
